239 people aboard
Malaysia’s safety investigation lists 227 passengers and 12 crew.
Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared on 8 March 2014 with 227 passengers and 12 crew. The main wreckage and flight recorders remain missing. This campaign research page separates confirmed official evidence, unresolved questions, disputed claims and creator analysis so visitors can inspect the sources for themselves.
No reliable evidence establishes that MH370 was teleported. Ashton Forbes argues that viral “orb” videos depict a real aircraft event involving advanced technology, but the videos have not been independently authenticated as MH370. Independent fact-check/VFX analyses report matches to pre-existing cloud imagery and other compositing evidence. The official investigation instead documents radar, SATCOM and recovered debris evidence consistent with a Boeing 777 that diverted and later ended in the southern Indian Ocean search region.
Important distinction: the cause of the disappearance is still unresolved because the main wreckage, flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder have not been recovered. “Cause unresolved” does not make every proposed explanation equally supported.

Civilian and Malaysian military radar data showed MH370 turning back and crossing the Malay Peninsula after its transponder disappeared.
Inmarsat ground-station logs recorded satellite communications after conventional radar contact ended.
The right flaperon recovered on Réunion was confirmed as belonging to 9M-MRO; additional debris was assessed as confirmed or almost certainly from MH370.
Malaysia reported that the 2025/26 Ocean Infinity operation surveyed about 7,571 km² and had not confirmed the wreckage location as of 8 March 2026.
The official report could not establish the cause or determine with certainty who controlled the aircraft after the diversion.
The main aircraft, FDR and CVR remain missing.
Forbes argues they are authentic; independent analyses have identified evidence consistent with VFX fabrication. They are not accepted as authenticated MH370 evidence by the official investigation.
The Resilient Show episode presents Forbes’ case for leaked military footage, plasma/orb technology, Diego Garcia and alleged U.S. involvement. Those are creator/proponent claims, not campaign-verified findings.
Fact-checkers and VFX analysts report that the “satellite” video background matches pre-existing aerial cloud photographs and cite compositing/VFX indicators. Forbes disputes those conclusions and maintains an authentication case through his own research.
Malaysian military primary radar tracked the aircraft after its transponder disappeared. The report says it was not intercepted because the track was assessed as friendly and not a threat.
The United States participated as an accredited representative in Malaysia’s safety investigation. That is an investigative role, not evidence of culpability.
Australia coordinated major southern Indian Ocean search work and published flight-path, debris and search analyses.
Inmarsat satellite data and U.K. aviation investigators contributed to reconstruction of the post-radar flight path and search strategy.
Forbes and other proponents allege a connection to the U.S./U.K. military base. Malaysia’s official investigation report does not establish a Diego Garcia operation.
Claims that U.S. military drones or satellites recorded a teleportation event depend on the disputed videos. No independently authenticated chain of custody has established those videos as U.S. government MH370 footage.
No official MH370 investigation finding establishes CIA or NSA responsibility for the disappearance. Such claims should be presented as allegations unless documentary evidence is produced.
Governments may hold additional defense, radar or intelligence records. A transparency request can ask for lawfully releasable material without presuming what those records contain.
Forbes is included as a creator/research proponent. His work should be linked and preserved alongside official records and counter-analysis. No endorsement implied.
