Federal contribution rules

The 2027–2028 indexed contribution limit has not yet been published as of July 2026. The campaign will apply the official FEC limit when published and refund, redesignate or reattribute an excessive contribution as required.

Contributors must be U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents.
Contributions must come from the contributor’s own funds and may not be reimbursed.
Foreign nationals, federal contractors, corporations and labor organizations may not make prohibited contributions to a federal candidate committee.
Contributions in another person’s name are prohibited.
Campaign contributions are not tax-deductible.
